With spring in full swing here in New England, the mind and heart starts wandering outside. I start thinking about my garden, enjoying lighter baked goods, and thinking about seasonal vegetable recipes I've missed. Naturally I am always inspired by Beatrix Potter around this time of year - both for her naturalist paintings but also for her illustrations with Peter and his friends.
